A detailed concept design package for an advanced bioenergy facility.

Orez was engaged by Soilco to provide a concept design and preliminary design package for an Anaerobic Digester to capture biogas from Organic waste to generate onsite renewable energy which forms part of their proposed Clean Energy Compost Manufacturing Facility (CECMF).

In partnership with Thoeni, Orez worked together with Soilco to propose a plug flow digester system that produces biogas.

The Project has an ambitious vision; to be the most sustainable, advanced composting facility in the world. A Sustainability Strategy has been developed for the project based on reviews of global and local context, megatrends, and project benchmarks with key drivers of change including:

• Decarbonisation to eliminate fossil fuels, and,
• Design resilience for a changing climate to cope with water scarcity, extreme weather, and increased peak and average temperatures.
