ThermoValue Energy Platform

For many regional operators, waste management and energy supply are treated as separate problems. The ThermoValue Energy Platform (TVE) brings them together. For timber and wood processing facilities, this can mean using bark, chips, offcuts and manufacturing residues to support the energy needs of the same facility that generated them.

ThermoValue Energy platform (TVE)

The ThermoValue Energy platform (TVE) is designed for industrial sites that generate consistent volumes of high calorific value biomass or organic residues. Rather than transporting these materials off site for low value disposal or uncertain recovery, the platform allows operators to recover energy directly at the point of origin. The system produces high temperature thermal energy through a thermal oil circuit, which can be used for process heat or converted into electricity through an Organic Rankine Cycle. This makes the platform particularly relevant for regional and remote Australian operators where grid access is constrained, energy costs are high and residue management remains a long-term operating challenge.

Outputs

Thermal Energy
Reliable process heat generated from suitable high calorific value biomass and organic residues.
The ThermoValue Energy platform (TVE) transfers recovered heat through a thermal oil circuit, allowing energy to be used directly within industrial processes or integrated into existing site heat systems.
Electricity
On site electricity generated from recovered thermal energy through an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC).
The ThermoValue Energy platform (TVE) can integrate ORC power generation to convert available thermal energy into electricity for behind the meter use and, where approved, export to the grid.
